66 Shoe Lane
In 2020 the upgrade to 66 Shoe Lane completed, a London office building between Fleet Street and Chancery Lane which is now a London base to accounting giant Dellotitte.
Designed by architect Stiff+Trevillion, the development required extensive remodeling at ground floor level to include two new entrance lobbies as well as a unique redesigned cast iron façade. The AATi now-famous orange-rusted ‘living’ finish used on Paul Smith’s Mayfair flagship store was selected as part of a bespoke cast façade feature on the project. 207 ductile cast Iron panels were manufactured in total, with 26 individual panel types designed to wrap around 5 large columns creating an ingenious and seamless architectural feature. Each panel featured bespoke hanger mounting systems following architectural specification.
Our Essex-based facility can produce large flat castings with impressive levels of decorative detail on multiple production lines ensuring flexibility and ‘Fast-track’ delivery when required.
