AATi supplied cast metal anti-slip stair nosings for the newly renovated High Wycombe Leisure Centre.
The leisure centre is packed with activities and now includes:
- An eight lane 50 metre pool with moveable floor and sub-aqua dive pit
- 20 metre by 8 metre learner pool with moving floor 1.2 metre deep
- Splash zone for young children
- 10 metre climbing wall
- 150 station gym
- Dance studios
- 12 court sports hall
- Bowls (four rink)
- Steam room and sauna
- Two squash courts
- Two party or meeting rooms
- Café
The nosing selected was AATi type – SN9/55 in Cast Iron zinc plated black.
This nosing is widely used across commercial developments alike, due to the silicon carbide granules cast into the metal matrix of the wearing surface; this ensures high anti-slip and also anti-wear performance and assists with the products longevity.
