Take a look at London's newest Pier - Royal Wharf!

Published on

Royal Wharf Pier is located in the Royal Docks alongside London's River Thames. It is part of the Royal Wharf development but serving as a river boat terminal and contemporary public space, allowing the public to relax and enjoy the iconic views of London’s greatest landmarks.

AATi worked with Nex Architecture designing the staircase on London’s newest pier. Nex sought after a long lasting and robust product that would also be elegant in design. Between both parties the SN9/55 cast Nickel Bronze anti-slip stair nosing was selected. This particular product is suitable for many different applications and exhibits the same longevity and hard wearing/heavy duty characteristics as the AATi larger profile nosings.

AATi supplied the anti-slip stair nosings to Dutch contractor Ravestein, the pier was shipped from their factory in Netherlands and then barged up the Thames before finally and expertly, craned into position.
