Queen Elizabeth II, on February 29, 2012, unveiled a commemorative Jubilee Greenway Disc just outside the main gates of Buckingham Palace. It marks the beginning of the 60 km Jubilee Greenway walking and cycling route. The route is marked by 542 glass plaques and was created as part of the celebrations for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
