Búðarháls’ Hydro Plant

Published on

A circular argument. Iceland needs inward investment because of the banking crisis. Rio Tinto agrees to help because Iceland has ‘free’ natural resources, sand and hydro power. The Chinese want the Aluminium, so they will help too by building a 80MW power plant to drive the power-hungry aluminium smelter. AATi Ltd will use some of that Aluminium to make antislip SN2 WL84 stair nosings for the plant’s steps. All the workers and curious international visitors will be safe even during the iciest visit.

Moral of the story; ‘many a slip ‘tween cup and lip’ i.e. take care, and have patience, and good things will come to all those who help out in a crisis. Well done Iceland and thanks for the order.
